FLOS TABLE LAMP OBLIQUE

An LED table lamp with technical properties that will certainly be standard equipment for modern desk lamps in the future: In autumn 2020, Flos presented Oblique and Oblique Qi, two LED table lamps that score with timeless aesthetics, energy efficiency and multifunctionality.

The minimalist Oblique lamp consists of a circular base, a straight, slim lamp rod and a round diffuser disc. The body is made of painted die-cast aluminum, with several surface colors providing attractive, subtle or more eye-catching accents.

A patented, ultra-flat and asymmetrical lens is installed in the lamp head, which optimizes the light emission and distributes the light downwards in a focused manner with a beam angle of 34°. The lens is hidden behind a methacrylate diffuser, which ensures glare-free light. The light distribution is optimally adapted to the requirements for efficient work light and is therefore perfect for offices and desks.

But Oblique can do more than just create optimal work light: It is equipped with a USB-C connection point that can be used to charge electronic devices. The Oblique Qi even allows smartphones to be charged wirelessly by simply placing them on the base. The lamp base is also equipped with an on/off dimmer switch with an integrated timer.

The light from the Oblique is extra warm white at 2700K. Cooler color temperatures (3000K and 4000K) are also available upon request, which can have an activating effect on work performance and concentration.

Oblique fits into minimalist, modern interiors, but also fits wonderfully into rustic environments.
